Why I do this work
Long before I became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, I was a kid figuring out life after my parents’ divorce. I know how confusing and isolating that season can feel—and how much it helps to have someone who understands.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
I’m well aware of the unique kind of grief divorce creates for kids—and how hard it can be to grow from that so they can experience a joyful, holy, lasting marriage they still hope is possible. I started Calm the Storm Counseling to offer the kind of support I know every child needs during this season.
